The Allan ESV Single Column Reference Edition is an adaptation of Crossway’s discontinued Single Column Reference typesetting. It has been exclusively developed and designed by R L Allan.

Printed for R L Allan at Royal Jongbloed in the Netherlands, this highly readable single column typesetting uses 10pt font, is verse by verse, with each verse starting on a new line, and includes cross references in the inner margin and a 7/8 inch (22mm) blank outer margin. It is fully line-matched and printed on the highest quality PrimaBible 36gsm paper, which offers the optimum balance of opacity and paper thickness.

 

This edition is bound in the Netherlands by Royal Jongbloed in petrol blue natural grain goatskin, leather-lined in petrol blue Meriva Calfskin with three petrol blue ribbons.  It comes complete with short book introductions, Allan Presentation pages, 32 pages of Crossway’s full colour maps and illustrations and 32 pages of lined notepaper.
